Epoch of Ashes: The Return of Vix
novel
Two thousand years have scoured the old names from the land. The demon god Vix, once the terror that shattered empires and drank the light of stars, lies buried beneath a cairn of myth and half-remembered nightmares. Now, in a quiet human village that has never known war, a stone coffin cracks open. Something ancient and patient draws breath again. The magic of this age hums differently—softer, tamer—but the power coiling inside that waking form is anything but tame. The stories are wrong. The truth is worse. And it is hungry only for a life it never had.
